How did it all start?
The trigger came during the first lockdown, the need for more manual work, after days of teleworking behind a screen, and a living environment closer to nature.
September 2020 , I decide to enroll in a throwing course at the workshop De la terre à l'objet , Paris 18th, because this art particularly attracts me. The hypnotic side of the wheel, the possibility of creating objects that will be used on a daily basis, the experimental aspect of enameling...

November 2020, re-confinement, I buy a lathe which I install in the garage at my parents' house.

February 2021 , I need to fire the many pieces I have produced. I then call several ceramists around my home asking them if it was possible to fire at home... Without success! No matter, I buy a kiln !

From February to June 2022 , I am training at the Atelier Chemins de la Céramique in Montreuil (93) to learn professional techniques and be able to go further in my creativity.
I am following a "distance" course, that is to say with a limited number of hours in person at the Montreuil workshop, or about 1 and a half days per week. The rest of the time, we have "homework" and I train from home, on my lathe installed in my Parisian apartment (on a skateboard, in my bathroom!).
June 2022 : CAP in ceramic turning

September 2022 , I am still a consultant but at 80%! I have the chance to start an experience of teaching throwing in initiation at the Atelier Terre Brune , Paris 11th. An experience that excites me!
I continue to produce a few pieces on my lathe in Paris and fire the pieces created in my kiln which remains in the suburbs of Paris, at my parents' house. Transporting the raw pieces is often tricky and I have quite a few losses... Frustrating!
October 2024 , I want to devote myself 100% to ceramics, the adventure begins !

January 3, 2025 , the ECREVIS association welcomes me as a resident in its premises! What a joy to have a real workshop dedicated to ceramics!
